Currently, Selangor’s three power stations include Connaught Bridge in Klang, Kapar Power Station in Kapar and Putrajaya Power Station in Serdang.

These 3 produce 3,877MW of the total installed capacity in the country which is at 19,723MW. At present, the maximum demand of power in Selangor is 3,376MW.

Total current capacity in Pulau Indah is 275/132KV with main distribution substation at 33/11KV and transformer capacity at 11/0.433KV. Additional consumption can be arranged through advise from the main electricity power generator and supplier – Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).

The Semenyih water dam generates 140 million gallons per day (mgd). The Sungai Selangor water scheme, combined with other major dams have a total capacity of 400 mgd and are expected to reach 1,900 mgd. New water sources generate an extra 400 mgd. With all of this, there is sufficient capacity until the year 2020.

Total water capacity in Pulau Indah is (MLD) 20MG / 92.0 ML per day. Additional consumption can be arranged through advise from the Selangor water supply operator- Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SYABAS).

Pulau Indah is ready with a flood retention pond as a runoff basin. The pond handles a quick influx of water and catches large amounts of surface runoffs to minimise the effects of large rains and flooding.

A Domestic Waste Sewage Treatment Plant (Vacuum) is in place to make wastewater acceptable for reuse or for returning to the environment.
