  • Reporting direct to General Manager, Finance and Administration.
  • To oversee and provide leadership of core financial reporting functions on property  development, which includes Financial and management reporting, financial  planning and budgetary control, treasury, funding, tax management and policy  development.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of corporate/project finance in property and construction  especially building up financial model on cost allocation technique in various  components in property development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and passionate  communicator with excellent public speaking skills as well as good writing skills.
  • Perform complex business analysis, evaluation and strategic planning, long-term  business plans in line with the Company’s objective.
  • Have sufficient knowledge in the Malaysian financial Reporting Standard (MFRS)  especially in property development and construction and to ensure monthly  management reports in compliance with these reporting Standards.
  • Preparation and interpretation of budget monitoring information including  forecasting, trend analysis, risk analysis and recommendation for corrective action.
  • Prepares Management reports and presentation, financial models and Board Papers  by highlighting the financial results when compared to the annual budget/forecast.
  • Oversee and participate in feasibility study and due diligence on projects  development and any potential investment, organisation budget ,determining cost  effectiveness of respective developments projects and its execution, to advice on  the financial impact to the cash and profit position.
  • Responsible to source for project funding, evaluate and apply for financing and loan  documentation/instruments.
  • Oversee cash flow projections of the company and collection schedule to achieve  efficiency cash management system.
  • Developing external relationship with Auditors, Tax Agent, bankers, solicitors and  related Government Agencies.
  • Any other ad-hoc function assigned by the Management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Corporate Finance or equivalent with minimum of  7 (seven) years of working experience in the field of Corporate /Project finance and must have worked in a  medium to large property development company.
  • Must be well versed in developing project feasability studies.
  • Preferably member of MIA/MACPA.
  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, team player, results oriented and able to work  under pressure.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Excellent leadership skills and able to innovate, motivate and develop others.
  • Aggressive, visionary and willing to take calculated risk for dynamic business  growth.
  • Attentive to details, alert and capable of identifying business growth, IRR, NPV, cost  saving opportunity and process improvement alternatives.
  • Strong interest in property development and always keep abreast of industry  development and best practices.
  • Preferably holding manager / senior manager post in project  finance or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills.
